Geovani Galvez is a Chicago native, multidisciplinary artist. In 2013 he received his Associates in Art in Fine Art at Morton College . He has been in numerous shows including the Skyway Art Competition in 2011 at Morton College and has recently been in the Annual Jury Student Exhibition at the Fine Arts Center Gallery at NorthEastern Illinois University in 2019. Galvez was awarded Best of Show in the Annual Jury Student Exhibition 2017 & 2018, and has received the Art Merit Scholarship at Northeastern Illinois University in 2018. He is currently pursuing his Bachelors in Fine Arts concentrating in Printmaking and Graphic Design; In the meantime he works in mix media focusing on the subjects of sexuality, gender, spirituality and race.
